Template 06-delay.md #1: Release delay

Title: [GAME] is delayed to [NEW DATE] — here's why

Tough news: [GAME] will now launch on [NEW DATE], moved from [OLD DATE].

Why: [2–4 specific sentences. NOT "we want to polish" alone — say WHAT.]

What the extra [X weeks/months] buys:

  • [CONCRETE IMPROVEMENT 1]
  • [CONCRETE IMPROVEMENT 2]
  • [CONCRETE IMPROVEMENT 3]

What doesn't change: [price / platforms / scope — say explicitly so speculation doesn't fill the gap].

The full pack adds 49 more templates: launches, updates, hotfixes, sales, events, more delays, and the complete apology set — plus the scheduler and guidance.

One price. Yours forever.

FAQ

Are these really 50 distinct templates?

Yes — 8 launch, 8 major update, 6 hotfix, 8 sale, 7 event/festival, 6 delay, 7 apology. Each has its own title formula and body structure; they're not find-replace variants of one template.

Do the templates work with Steam's formatting?

They're written in clean Markdown for readability. The GUIDANCE.md file includes a 2-minute conversion cheat sheet (bold → [b], bullets → [list][*]) since Steam only reliably supports BBCode.

How does the scheduler work?

It's an HTML file that runs offline in your browser. Enter your game title and launch date and it generates 23 dated announcement touchpoints from D-180 to D+180, each linked to the exact template to use. Checkboxes save in your browser; you can copy the whole plan as Markdown.

What format is the download?

A ZIP with the scheduler (HTML), 7 template files (Markdown), and the guidance + README. No DRM, no expiry, use it on unlimited projects.

Why Bitcoin only?

Card payments are coming soon — the button above is already in place. Bitcoin checkout is live right now: a fresh address per order, download unlocks automatically once the payment is seen on-chain.
